Coming home from the hospital? You should not do it alone.
The first weeks after a discharge, a surgery or a stroke are when falls and readmissions happen. We put an experienced caregiver in the home — and a registered nurse behind the plan — for exactly that window.
Speak with Nicole directly — a registered nurse with 20+ years of experience, not a call centre.
Private pay and long-term care insurance · VA Aid & Attendance accepted toward cost · not a Medicaid or Medicare provider

What we do
Support for the situations families call us about
Every care plan is built around one person — never one-size-fits-all.
After a hospital stay
Help with the transition home: mobility, meals, medication reminders and getting to follow-up appointments.
Post-surgery recovery
Hands-on help while movement is limited, so recovery happens at home instead of in a facility.
After a stroke
Patient, unhurried assistance with dressing, bathing, mobility and daily routine as function returns.
Dementia & Alzheimer's
Calm, consistent, familiar support that reduces confusion and keeps routines intact.
Parkinson's & mobility loss
Steady help with transfers, walking and the daily tasks that get harder first.
Respite for the family
Short-term relief when the family caregiver needs to rest or travel.
Our specialty
A registered nurse in the room with you
This is what sets Nicole's Precious Hands apart. As your advocate we attend medical appointments alongside you, ask the questions families do not know to ask, translate the medical language, and coordinate between doctors and family — so your wishes are heard and respected at every step.
Getting started
Care in three simple steps
From the first call to the first visit, we keep it calm and clear.
Free consultation
We listen to your family's situation and answer every question — by phone or in your home. No cost, no pressure, no obligation.
A care plan built for them
Together we build a personalized plan and schedule, then match a caregiver whose skills and personality actually fit your loved one.
Care begins at home
Your caregiver arrives ready to help. We check in regularly and adjust as needs change — you are never left to manage it alone.

What families ask us first
Is this the same as home health or skilled nursing?
No. We provide non-medical home care — help with daily living, not clinical treatment. What is unusual is that the agency is owned and overseen by a registered nurse, so the plan is built with clinical judgement behind it.
Can care start the day of discharge?
Often yes. Call us as soon as a discharge date is set and we will tell you honestly what we can cover.
Can you go to doctor's appointments with us?
Yes. Patient advocacy is our specialty — we attend appointments, ask the questions families do not know to ask, and coordinate between doctors and family.
How do families usually pay for care?
We are a private-pay agency. Families pay directly, or through a long-term care insurance policy, and veterans and surviving spouses can often use VA Aid & Attendance benefits toward the cost — ask us and we will point you to the application. We do not bill Medicaid or Medicare. If that is what you need, say so on the call and we will point you somewhere that can help.
How long do families usually need it?
Some need a few weeks through recovery, others stay on long-term. There is no long contract to sign to find out.
Are you hiring caregivers? Can I call about a job?
This page and phone line are for families arranging care for a loved one. If you are a caregiver looking for work, please apply through our careers page — applications are handled separately and are not taken by phone.
